Ready to secure your initial FCC ticket or update your operating privileges to General or Amateur Extra? Walk-ins are fully accepted, but an early text RSVP helps our Volunteer Examiner team optimize testing computers.

• Next Session Date: Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 9:30 AM
• Examination Venue: Calabash EMS Building (9031 Beach Drive SW, Calabash, NC 28467)
• Technical Protocol: All exams will be administered fully online using EXAM TOOLS. Bring an internet-capable tablet or laptop.

📡 Weekly Local Radio Net Alignments

Our recurring local emergency communication tracking channels remain fully configured for your local signal testing and traffic check-ins:

• 🎙️ The Shrimp Net: Every Monday morning at 8:30 AM via the 147.315 MHz machine.
• 🛡️ Brunswick County ARES Net: Every Monday evening at 7:00 PM using the same 147.315 MHz repeater layout (+600 offset, Tone 118.8 Hz).
