BSARC will be providing tactical radio tracking and coordinate safety communications support for the upcoming Cape Fear Cruisers Car Club Show in Southport, NC.

• Activation Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
• Volunteers Needed: Please coordinate your mobile rigs and handheld check-ins with the emergency operations committee. Public events like this are highly valued opportunities to showcase amateur radio utility to county services!

Help the club secure commissions ($15 for first-time signups, $5 for renewals) by routing your American Radio Relay League entries directly through our executive desk.

• The Process: Download the ARRL Membership Application CLUB PDF .

📡 Weekly Local Radio Net Alignments

Our recurring localized radio networks remain fully configured for your operational testing:

• 🎙️ The Shrimp Net: Every Monday morning at 8:30 AM via the 147.315 MHz machine (+600 offset, Tone 118.8 Hz).
• 🛡️ Brunswick County ARES Net: Every Monday evening at 7:00 PM using the same 147.315 MHz repeater (+600 offset, Tone 118.8 Hz).

• When: Wednesday (April 15) & Saturday (April 18) Morning starting at 8:00 AM
• Checkpoint Venue: Tee-Time Cafe — 126 Holden Beach Road, Shallotte, NC
• Routing Coordinates: Located roughly 650 feet (1/8 mile) past the Holden Beach Road & Main Street traffic light on your right-hand side when moving out from the Walmart complex entrance.
