🏛️ BSARC Monthly Club Meeting Tonight

Don’t forget that this month’s official business meeting takes place tonight!

📡 Weekly Local Radio Net Alignments

Our persistent radio networks are fully configured for your local signal and traffic check-ins:

• 🎙️ The Shrimp Net: Every Monday morning at 8:30 AM via the 147.315 MHz machine (+600 offset, Tone 118.8 Hz).
• 🛡️ Brunswick County ARES Net: Every Monday evening at 7:00 PM using the same 147.315 MHz repeater (+600 offset, Tone 118.8 Hz).
• 🏠 AUXCOM / ARES Operations Meeting: Tonight at 5:00 PM inside the BEMC Building in Supply, NC, preceding the main club business meeting.

• ✈️ Dayton Hamvention 2026: Taking place this weekend, May 15–17, 2026 at the Fairgrounds in Xenia, Ohio! Safe travels to all BSARC members making the trip up to represent southeastern North Carolina. For schedules and flea market map layouts, check out the Official Dayton Hamvention Site .
• 🎟️ Cape Fear Amateur Radio Swapfest: Mark your logs for the 26th annual event on August 8, 2026 in Fayetteville, NC. Visit CFARS Website .

📻 New Experimental Monthly HF SSB Net

Don’t forget to configure your radio wire antennas for the inaugural experimental monthly HF net coming up next week, coordinated on behalf of Gary Quinn (NC4S):

• When: Every 3rd Wednesday of the Month (May 21, 2026)
• Time: 8:00 PM EST
• Frequency Target: 3.725 MHz on the 80-meter band

🍳 Mid-Week & Weekend Club Social Breakfasts

Join the club for food, fellowship, and casual technical discussions at our local operating checkpoint:

• When: Wednesday (May 13) & Saturday (May 16) Morning starting at 8:00 AM
• Checkpoint Venue: Tee-Time Cafe — 126 Holden Beach Road, Shallotte, NC
