Required Training Courses
To participate fully in official emergency service deployments, operators are highly encouraged to complete the following free FEMA independent study courses:
- IS-100 (Introduction to the Incident Command System)
- IS-200 (Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response)
- IS-700 (National Incident Management System, An Introduction)
- IS-800 (National Response Framework, An Introduction)
Note: The ICS-205 (Incident Radio Communications Plan) form is a critical asset utilized during active emergency operations to coordinate channel plans.
